Moodle (mini) Moot - 29th April, 2010, Wellington, New Zealand

The 2010 Wellington MoodleMoot is a one day event to be held at Te Papa Tongarewa, Museum of New Zealand, on the 29th April, 2010. This event is an excellent opportunity to share lessons, experiences, know-how with colleagues from across Education sectors and beyond.

There are three core streams:

• Moodle and Workplace Learning. This stream will appeal to industry training organisations, private firms and public sector agencies interested in how Moodle is being used in the workplace context.
  
  
• Moodle and Mahara in Tertiary Education. This stream recognises that Moodle is now the most popular virtual learning environment (VLE) in NZ's tertiary education sector and by some distance! It also explores the growth of ePortfolios as an increasingly important component of the VLE.
  

• Moodle and Mahara in Schools. This stream focuses on the New Zealand school version of Moodle and aims to share experiences in the fast growing school community using Moodle and the MyPortfolio eportfolio service. Learn what other schools are doing with Moodle/Mahara.

The one-day Moot in Wellington is designed to complement the DEANZ Conference (25-28th April) at the same venue and extends the theme of building 'Quality Connections' and 'Boundless Possibilities' available to educators through open, flexible and distance learning.
